LOL No I'm not going mad and neither are you. I'm watching QVC's Christmas in July Day. WOW there's some fabulous gifts. Just watched the yankee candle show and love most of them...lol I did go to order one but I cannot find my qvc membership number I'll have to have a look tomorrow and see if I can get the candles I want then.
I should be stitching on my HAED sal tonight but instead I decided to start knitting a sock! My wool and pattern arrived today so I couldn't not make a start. I'm still on the leg part haven't reached the heal yet, I'm sure that will be a challange. I hope to get one sock finished over the weekend.
I'm still working away on my scarves, I've 11 finished now, and I'm still knitting on that cardigan! However I think I could finish it next week. I've really only the rib on each side left to do. The hardest part is picking up the stitches to start the rib. When that's all done I've just to stitch it together so fingers crossed I'll get it finished so I can get going with something else. I bought wool to knit another cardigan but I'm not really sure if I like the colour or not. It's ok....but I'm not 100% sure about it. SO I'm thinking I might send it back if I can and choose a neutral colour...I bought a denim colour but I thought it would be darker than what it is.....oh well.I'll decide over the weekend whether to keep it or not.
I've become addicted to Farmtown, Barn Buddy and Farmville on Facebook, it's ridiculous. I was in work on Thursday having withdrawal and seriously considering taking my laptop to work to play on FB at lunchtime...OMG I can't do that!!! lol So who here is on face book??? Sally I know you are!! pmsl.
I haven't really been up to much...the weather here is awful, torrential rain with thunder and lightning today it's awful. I really hope it picks up again before summer is over. I hope everyone else is having better weather.

Coooweeeeeeee
Hi there, just wanted you all to know I'm still here, still alive and can still see...lol
I can't believe how long it is since I was last here and I've no news at all!
I'm still stitching away on the HAED Dark Cherry SAL, and still working on my scarves and still knitting my cardigan which just doesn't want to get finished for some reason...but I'll definitely have it finished for next winter...lol
I've now knit 10 scarves for this year and I'm hoping to get lots more done and sold nearer Christmas so I think I'm gonna have to start knitting a lot more on them instead of one night a week. Im minding my parents house in a couple of weeks for a couple of weeks so I think I'll just knit on scarves while I'm there. I've not yet decided to bring any stitching but we'll see. I usually get loads of stitching and knitting done while I'm there.
I tend not to get my computer out in the evenings much now as it keeps me away from my stitching and knitting....once I turn it on I can't turn it off...like tonight. I thought I'll pop into facebook for a minute and update my blog and here I am 2 hours later still here with no stitching done! lol Oh well!!
It's really hot here, too humid for me. I love the sun and heat but hate the humidity that comes with it. I can't sleep at night, I toss and turn...is anyone else the same??
Amber and Daisy are sleeping lots too, I think it's too warm for them as well...lol I definitely shouldn't complain about the weather, the winters are here for too long. I do enjoy sitting in the sun with the radio on and reading my book...I could sit for hours like this...lol Long may the long summer days last.
I hope you are all keeping well and knitting and stitching away....I'll try and check out as many of your blogs as I can and post some comments.. (I wish I could access blogs from work still, it was so easy to keep up to date with everything **sigh**)

I can seeeeeeee lol
Hi everyone I'm here and I can see.....
I had my laser eye surgery last Thursday. Ok I was scared....so scared I nearly bottled it and ran but they were so nice and really made me feel at ease and the valium they gave me really helped. All I can say is anyone afraid of doing this you have absolutely nothing to be nervous of. Believe me...if it hurt in anyway I would tell you...but I swear there was absolutely no pain whatsoever.
I will say though....they put this clip on your eye to stop you from blinking and they put this suction thing on your eye so the laser is positioned to create a flap on the cornea. It sounds like it would take ages to do but this took 22 seconds on each eye. (The nurse counts down the seconds so you know how long more it's going to take) There was a bit of pressure on the eye but no pain. WHen this is done on both eyes it then took 2 minutes for each eye to be lasered. Unbelievable. I couldn't believe me when I was told it was all done and once I stood up I could see. It was a bit blurry but I could actually see.
Having the suction thingy on your eye sounds a lot worse than it is...I promise you there is no pain at all...I'm such a wuss if there was any pain I'd still be crying about it.
So you ladies that are thinking of having it done, go and have the free consultation and see if you are suitable first of all. They will explain everything about the surgery to you and seriously it takes minutes only! I went with a place called Optical Express who have clinics all over the UK. Their information pack is really good too, very informative. I would definitely recommend them.
The worse thing for me about the surgery is all the eye drops afterwards. I've a minimum of 14 drops in my eyes a day....marvelous! lol But I'll be finished 2 lots on wednesday night and then I continue with the dry eye drops for a month...it's not too bad really.....
Anyway....lol Its my birthday today God I'm getting old! I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes and I also want to thanks Miz Julie for the gorgeous wabbit I received. I can't post a pic right now but I will do in a few days. He's soooo cute. And I am honoured to receive one of her famous bunnies...thanks Julie.
I've got the week off work...woohooo so I plan on doing not a lot....lol I can't stitch at the moment as my near sight is not spot on just yet (as it was my short sigtedness that was fixed it takes a few days for the near sight to get back to normal) But I've been knitting...have started on my scarves for this winter so I've done 4 in the last few days. I'm sitting her knitting with sunglasses on so no dust or bits get in my eyes...lol

I'm hereeee. WOW I can't believe how long it has been since I've been here. And I haven't even been up to much at all.
I try not to turn my computer on at home in the evenings because when I do I get nothing else done. I end up sitting for hours on it.....
Anyway...I've been knitting and stitching. My rotation is....Friday to Monday nights I stitch on my Dark Cherry HAED sal. I've now completed the first page. Page 2 was released a couple of weeks ago and I've done about 1,500 stitches on it so far...I think there's about 8,000 on the page so a long way to go before page 2 is finished. Here's a pic of page 1
Tuesday nights I knit on a scarf as I want to get a few done for next Christmas to see if I can sell them again...
Wednesday and Thursday I've been knitting on my cardigan. So busy busy! lol At least it keeps me out of trouble!! lol
While I was waiting on page 2 of the Haed chart to arrived I picked up my Snowman Trio again and I'm nearly finished it now...but it will have to wait until my Page 2 is done and that will be a couple of months no doubt. Here's a pic of it.....
I thought I'd share a new picture of Amber & Daisy too...they'll be 3 this year, can't believe it's 3 years since they came to keep me sane..lol
I've got en eye test on Monday afternoon to see if I'm suitable for eye laser surgery....OMG I'm sooo nervous. Have any of you ladies had it done or know anyone that has had it done??? Tell me all about it if you can! lol
So what have you all been up too?? I'll have to go check out some blogs now I think to try and catch up. This could take a while!! lol

Still knitting.....lol
Hi there everyone.....wow what a stormy weekend we are having, thankfully though today the sun is shining (so far) not like the dark rainy day we had yesterday. Where's all these gales coming from....I'm sure they are headed over the Irish Sea now.....
Well I've had 2 more scarves to make for a couple of girls in work. I'll just tidy up the loose threads and stitch their labels on today and they will be done. Then I think another girl wants one for her friends birthday so I've to bring the wool colours I have left into her tomorrow. I never for a minute thought I would ever get through the amount of wool I had bought....how wrong was I?? lol
As well as knitting the scarves I had started a cardigan for me and I have finished then back. I will get back to this again when all the scarves are done!
And I'm also stitching again too.....boy did I miss my stitching! lol I'm working on a HAED sal, it's a free chart for SAL(lers) called Dark Cherry and it's by Kuik. It's lovely and I'm really enjoying it. It's stitched one weekend a month from the Friday to the Monday. However I didn't read the instructions correctly and I thought it was an every weekend sal so I've been stitching on it again this weekend. I'm going to continue working on it at weekends, and my first page will probably be finished well before the second page of the chart is released in March.
I've not been on the computer much at home, so I haven't been reading blogs.....I find once I turn the computer on nothing else gets done and I sit on it for hours.....If only I could blog from work again....***sigh*** lol
UH OH as I type th sun is gone and it's gotten very dark and it's starting to rain, and I was going to go for a walk in the park....hmmmm don't think I'll be doing that now. Will see in a couple of hours what it's like out.

IT'S CHRISTMAS........
Well here I am 45 scarves later.....lol here to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and best wishes for a Happy, Healthy, Peaceful, Knit-filled & Stitch-filled 2009 to you all.
OMG it's ages since I have been here....I can't believe how long it's been. Are you all keeping well??
I finished my 45th scarf today....and that last one is for me....On Monday I got an order for 3 more for after Christmas so the sooner I get them done then I can either get stitching again or maybe knit my cardigan that I've been wanting to do for the past 3 years...hmmmm decisions!! lol
Have you made New Years Resolutions?? I have.....lol, well, I'm going to try and just work on one project at a time, apart from the HAED SAL that I want to take part in. I need to get some biggies finished for a change.
I've already started my 2009 goals list so we will just wait and see how that goes.
Ok....just a quickie from me today, as I've still plenty of cleaning to do before I sit down and relax for the rest of Christmas Eve.
Have a wonderful Christmas....and hopefully I will "talk" to you all again very soon...
